About us

We founded Welcome To Home to address the urgent shortage of homes for low-income earners and to prove that affordability doesn’t have to mean poor quality.

Combining cost-effective construction methods with environmental enhancements and community-fostering technologies can significantly increase the value of housing for residents, communities, and investors.

FOUNDER

John Broekman

“For nearly 30 years we have been developing high-end luxury residences for discerning clients. Over the course of time it became evident that regular, decent housing has become more and more out of reach for so many. So we decided to do something about it.

Together with my family and partners we created Welcome To Home. Our ambition, however, is to do more than just build affordable housing; it is to create real homes and lasting communities.”

“The Hierarchy of Needs is a concept in psychology that’s taught in every basic business course, defining housing as a fundamental human need. More than just shelter, it is the foundation for opportunity, stability and community. Yet, the universal housing crisis remains largely unaddressed. We are working to change that.”
